Welcome to the

Valley Points
Family YMCA

In one way or another, we're all connected to the Y. Whether it's where you discovered a talent that became a lifelong passion, were encouraged by a mentor, or where you turn for support with a healthy lifestyle.

At the Valley Points Family YMCA, we believe our programming lays the groundwork for healthy futures, builds a sense of community, and conveys the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Yes, children learn to swim, kids have somewhere to go after school and we teach about healthy lifestyles, but the Y is far more than that. The Y is a place where kids find direction, families come together and people rally to make a difference.

With a commitment to nurturing youth development, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that people of all ages and from all walks of life have access to the essentials needed to be more healthy, confident, connected and secure.

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE Y

YMCA Child Care

Did you know that YMCAs are the nation's largest provider of child care in the United States?

With so many demands on today's families and the increased focus on early brain development, families need all the support they can get to nurture the potential of youth. That's why child care and early learning programs at the Y focus on holistically nurturing child development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

At the Y, we believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success. Our programs are based upon years of research in the field of child development and are designed to meet the individual needs of the child and the family as a whole. Providing high quality childcare is central to the overall mission of the Y.

All sites participate in the Keystone STARS program and are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Office of Child Development. Like all Y programs, child care is open to all, and financial assistance is available.
